This workshop aims to promote the values of academic integrity and responsibility among students, considering them as fundamental pillars in building a successful professional identity. It focuses on raising students’ awareness of the concept of academic integrity and its significance in their academic and professional journeys, in addition to introducing proper research practices such as accurate citation of sources and the avoidance of plagiarism. The workshop also addresses the role of individual responsibility in adhering to ethical standards within and beyond the university environment, while fostering critical thinking skills and encouraging self-reliance in completing academic tasks. Furthermore, it presents practical examples and case studies to help students understand the ethical challenges they may encounter and how to address them with awareness and professionalism. Overall, the workshop seeks to prepare students who possess a high level of ethical awareness and are capable of representing their educational institutions with competence and integrity in the labor market and society.

A scientific lecture entitled “Common Errors in the Arabic Language” was delivered by Ms. Assistant Lecturer Doaa Shaker Kazem. The lecture examined and analyzed the most prominent linguistic errors commonly encountered in both spoken and written usage, particularly within the university environment. It began by highlighting the importance of maintaining the integrity of the Arabic language as a tool for thought and expression and as a vessel of knowledge, emphasizing that accuracy in language use constitutes a fundamental pillar in constructing a rigorous academic text. The lecture addressed the most widespread spelling errors, such as incorrect writing of hamza forms, confusion between the tied taa (taa marbuta) and the open taa, and failure to distinguish between alif maqṣura and yaa, explaining how such mistakes weaken the formal quality of a text. It also examined grammatical errors related to case endings, especially the incorrect marking of subjects and objects, lack of agreement between verbs and subjects, and improper use of particles such as inna and its sisters and verbs like kana and its sisters. Furthermore, the lecture shed light on morphological and stylistic issues, including incorrect plural formation, confusion between the active and passive participles, as well as the influence of colloquial expressions and unnecessary verbosity in formal writing. The lecture ultimately aimed to improve students’ linguistic performance, enhance their awareness of essential grammatical and orthographic rules, and develop their ability to produce accurate, coherent, and clear texts, thereby contributing to academic advancement and preserving the status of the Arabic language as a fundamental component of cultural and intellectual identity.

Hassan Sabah Kazim, who reviewed the most common methods and strategies used in social engineering, supported by practical and analytical examples of electronic fraud attempts.  As part of the second axis of economic development for Iraqi women, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Science, Al-Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, organized an educational seminar on “Empowering Iraqi Women in Sustainable Economic Development” on December 3, 2025. The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturers Ilaf Ali Safouk and Saja Basim. The seminar highlighted the importance of women’s participation in economic development, whether through engagement in the labor market, small and medium-sized enterprises, or entrepreneurship, emphasizing that such contributions strengthen the national economy. It also shed light on prominent Iraqi figures who played a significant role in economic development, including the renowned architect Zaha Hadid and Dr. Manar Abdul Amir Al-Zubaidi.
