College of Administration and Economics Organizes Advanced English Language Course for Oil and Gas Economics Students

  ​The College of Administration and Economics organized a training course titled "Advanced English Language Course," presented by Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Yaqout. The course targeted third-year students in the Department of Oil and Gas Economics. ​The course aimed to develop students' English language skills, particularly in academic aspects and specialized terminology related to the fields of economics, oil, and gas. The curriculum covered several pillars focused on enhancing reading, writing, and speaking skills, in addition to strengthening students' ability to comprehend scientific texts and engage with foreign sources within their specialization. ​This initiative is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to elevate the scientific and linguistic proficiency of its students, empowering them to meet the demands of academic research and the labor market in the economic and petroleum sectors.

What Statisticians Haven't Said

The College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, held a course titled "What Statisticians Don't Tell You" at Al-Warith University ​The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Awad Kadhim Al-Khalidi, clarified that analysis, in general, must have a correct starting point in formulating research problems in order to reach valuable results. ​The key takeaway is the Dean's emphasis on the importance of correct problem formulation for achieving valuable analytical results.

As part of the scientific seminars for students of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), and in line with the college's plan to equip its students and graduates with the skills required by the labor market, the college held a scientific seminar. The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Saleem Rashid Aboud.

"Financial Growth" in a Scientific Seminar Presented by Students of the College of Administration and Economics

As part of the scientific student activities of the Business Administration Department at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), a number of first-year students presented a scientific seminar titled "Financial Growth and its Impact on the General Economy." The seminar was presented by students Amir Hani Mazban and Zaid Faisal Hussein, under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Majid Al-Hamdani. The seminar was attended by a group of faculty members and students from the department, who praised the students' presentation style and their focus on this important topic.

he Continuing Education Center at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya , in collaboration with the College of Administration and Economics, held a scientific seminar titled "Trading Methods in the Currency Market (Forex).

The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Haider Nasser, a faculty member at the College of Administration and Economics, and Mr. Muhannad Rashid Al-Majdi, a graduate student at the University of Karbala. Mr. Al-Majdi spoke, saying:"One of the correct ways to begin working in the trading and stock market, especially for students of the College of Administration and Economics, is for the trader to be knowledgeable about monetary policy, technical indicators, or technical analysis, as well as the needs of the labor market. After that, they can enter the markets to achieve profits and gains. Today's seminar aims to identify these indicators and policies and explain the correct methods to be followed. The world is moving towards advanced monetary policies that can help lift the country out of its economic crises. Therefore, we must raise an economic generation capable of changing current policies for the better in the future."
