As part of its efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation with state institutions, the Presidency of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa received a high-level delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by the Deputy Minister for Political Planning, Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi. The delegation was welcomed by the University President, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, accompanied by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Waqed Al-Moussawi, and members of the University Council.
The meeting explored prospects for collaboration between the University and the Ministry in the areas of training, development, and capacity-building, aiming to enhance integration between the educational and diplomatic sectors and to enable students to engage with national and international professional environments.
This cooperation aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by providing high-quality educational and training opportunities that meet labor market needs, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by building strategic relationships with state institutions to support comprehensive development.
Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi expressed his admiration for the University’s progress in infrastructure and educational technologies, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation frameworks with Iraqi universities to enhance the efficiency of national human resources.
The University Presidency reaffirmed its commitment to openness with various state institutions and to expanding its national partnership network, in line with its vision of academic leadership and community service.
